THE 13TH NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “CURRENT ISSUES OF HISTORICAL SOURCES, HISTORIOGRAPHY, METHODS AND METHODOLOGY OF HISTORICAL RESEARCH” WAS HELD THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY.
On April 24, 2021, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted the XIII national scientific-practical conference on “Current issues of historical sources, historiography, methods and methodology of historical research.”
Rector of TSUOS Gulchehra Rixsiyeva opened the conference, which was held online because of the current quarantine conditions. In addition, information was provided on the scientific research on historical sources and historiography at the university and their status, training of personnel with scientific potential, new departments and their activities, the latest scientific and educational literature. It was noted that a state program is being developed to create a national history of New Uzbekistan, to deepen research in this area, to accelerate the training of orientalists.
