Presentation of the Turkish-language book by Abdulla Oripov
On May 11, 2026, at the Abdulla Oripov House Museum located in the Do‘rmon Garden, the event titled “MEETING OF POETS, WRITERS AND ARTISTS OF THE TURKIC WORLD IN UZBEKISTAN” was held within the framework of a week-long program dedicated to the 585th anniversary of Alisher Navoi and the 85th anniversary of the Hero of Uzbekistan and People’s Poet of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Oripov.
Professor of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Khayrulla Khamidov and master’s students of the “International Journalism” specialty participated in the event. Educational discussions were organized in the poet’s creative room, the room where the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was created, and the poet’s library.
Foreign guests attending the event were presented with the new edition of the book “ABDULLA ARİPOV. BEN NIÇIN SEVERIM ÖZBEKISTAN’I. SEÇME ŞIIRLER,” published by the member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan Khayrulla Khamidov in honor of the 85th anniversary of Abdulla Oripov’s birth.
