MEETING WITH ACADEMICIAN
An open lecture “The Origin of the Uzbek People: Problems and Solutions” was organized at the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies at the Faculty of History and Philosophy at the initiative of the faculty of History and Source Studies of the Peoples of Central Asia. A doctor of historical sciences, professor, academician Akhmadali Askarovich Askarov was invited to conduct an open lecture, who after answered all questions of interest to students of the department. Academician A.A. Askarov spoke about his scientific activities, expressed his opinion on the activities of historians in the study of the past of the Uzbek people and ethnic history and the problems of this area.
