During the events, special emphasis was placed on the role of SDG-related indicators in prestigious international rankings such as the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, QS Sustainability Rankings, and other global ranking systems. Participants were also introduced to practical approaches for aligning the university’s research activities, educational processes, social initiatives, and international cooperation projects with the Sustainable Development Goals.
In addition, examples were presented to demonstrate how academic publications, grant-funded projects, social initiatives, work with students, and activities aimed at community development can directly contribute to the university’s performance in international rankings. The seminars also highlighted the importance of systematically documenting and widely promoting SDG-related activities carried out by each department and academic unit through various media channels.
