Research articles by TSUOS faculty published in the collection “Navruz in the Modern World”
At Allameh Tabataba’i University, a scientific collection titled “Navruz in the Modern World” was published, dedicated to the history and traditions of Navruz celebrations worldwide. The collection includes contributions from 50 prominent scholars and professors representing 9 countries.
Among the contributors, a research article by Komiljon Rakhimov, Professor of the Department of Eastern Philosophy and Hermeneutics at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Doctor of Historical Sciences and specialist in Oriental studies and Sufism, titled “Navruz in Uzbekistan,” was included in this prestigious publication.
The article provides an in-depth analysis of the historical roots of Navruz in Uzbekistan, its spiritual and moral significance, and its role in the system of national values. It also highlights the importance of the holiday in people’s lives and its universal value.
In addition, research articles by faculty members of the School of Iranian and Afghan Studies — Muhammad Rizo Asloniy and Associate Professor (DSc) Oydin Turdiyeva titled “نوروز: از سنت تا شیوه زندگی”, as well as Senior Lecturer (PhD) Xilolaxon Uktamova titled “تجلی فرهنگ و مدنیت در حوزه فرغانه: تحلیل مردمشناختی جشن نوروز در اندیجان، نمنگان و فرغانه”, were also published in the collection “نوروز در جهان امروز: روایت هایی از پژوهشگران سپهر فرهنگی نوروز” issued by Allameh Tabataba’i University.
This achievement is a clear result of the strong academic cooperation between Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and Allameh Tabataba’i University, as well as the effective implementation of international research projects.
