Academic and Research Interaction Project within the Educational Tourism Program
From March 11 to 14, 2025, within the framework of the Educational Tourism Program, an academic and research interaction project was implemented between students of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 8 – promoting decent work, enhancing youth competencies, and preparing competitive professionals for the global labor market.
During the project, students from both universities conducted observations and research on topics such as “The system of teaching the Japanese language in Uzbekistan,” “Language situation,” “Economy,” and “Architecture.” This process contributed to the development of analytical thinking and strengthened professional skills through international academic exchange.
As a result of the academic and research interaction, Japanese and Uzbek students deepened their understanding of each other’s languages and cultures, improved intercultural communication skills, and enhanced their readiness for the global labor environment, positively influencing their future employability and career development.
