On April 17, 2025, a “Career Day” job fair was organized at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies in cooperation with employers. This event was implemented within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 8 – promoting decent work, increasing youth employment, and supporting sustainable economic growth.
More than 50 state organizations participated in the fair, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, Tourism Committee, Youth Affairs Agency, as well as leading research institutes, banks, and state enterprises. In addition, over 50 private and joint companies took part, offering more than 300 job vacancies.
During the event, direct interviews were organized between graduates and employers, allowing students to gain detailed information about available job positions, labor market requirements, and career development opportunities. As a result, more than 600 graduating students submitted their CVs to various organizations.
In 2025, the university will graduate a total of 1,346 specialists, including 1,209 bachelor’s and 137 master’s graduates in fields such as philology, translation studies, political science, economics, tourism, history, and others.
