Enhancing Data Capacity Through Local Partnership
From August 5 to 9, 2024, TSUOS lecturer PhD Sulkhiya Gazieva participated as an expert in the summer school organized in cooperation between the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Research Institute for Family and Gender.
The summer school was dedicated to the theme “Using Demographic Data for Socio-Economic Development in Uzbekistan”. Participants from various ministries and government agencies across the country exchanged experiences through lectures, practical sessions, and discussions on topics such as the demographic situation, forecasting, and solutions to related challenges. Sulkhiya Gazieva delivered a lecture on “Managing Internal and External Migration Data: Challenges and Solutions”.
