International Conference “Munshi Prem Chand: The Spirit of the Age and Creativity”
While participating in a professional development program in India, Urdu studies faculty members and researchers from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) presented papers based on their research at the international conference “Munshi Prem Chand: The Spirit of the Age and Creativity.” The three-day conference was held on December 28, 2025, at the Ghalib Institute in Delhi.
In particular, TSUOS Professor M. Abdurahmonova chaired one of the conference sessions. In addition, Urdu studies scholars PhD M. Shorahmedova, PhD M. Umarova, and doctoral researcher Sh. Sadullaev delivered presentations on the translation of the works of Munshi Premchand into the Uzbek language.
