Learning and analysing SDG
On October 14, 2022, a webinar was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies in the Department of Western Languages of Turkology Faculty. The webinar’s theme was “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” 17 goals implemented for sustainable development in all UN member countries until 2030. In the webinar, English teacher Nargiza Mukhammadieva spoke in detail about the vital roles of global citizenship in an evolving global society and what global citizenship is and shared information about famous people actively contributing to the promotion of 17 goals.
Second-year students participated in interactive activities at the end of the webinar and gave positive feedback about the topic. They became a part of the global community and the world’s citizens by offering possible, realistic solutions to some of the 17 goals. This webinar was conducted in English.
