“Orientalist Students Sports Festival – 2025” at TSUOS
At Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS), an award ceremony for the winners and prize holders of the “Orientalist Students Sports Festival – 2025” was held along with a cycling competition — the “Velomarathon”.
On May 20, 2025, in cooperation with the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan, another sports project — the Velomarathon — was organized as part of the festival. Students interested in cycling actively participated in the competition. The event aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle, increase youth interest in sports, enhance physical fitness, and foster a friendly environment.
Active participants, including professors and students, were awarded certificates of appreciation by the university administration and Abduaziz Abdurazzaqov, Executive Secretary of the Tashkent city branch of the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan. The event concluded with an award ceremony for the festival winners and prize holders.
This initiative promotes healthy living, proper nutrition, and physical activity among young people while drawing attention to food security issues. Therefore, the event was implemented within the framework of SDG 2 – Zero Hunger, contributing to the goals of eliminating hunger, supporting adequate nutrition, and building a healthy society.
