Participation of teacher of TSUOS in the international symposium
On May 22-24, 2022, a symposium on “International Malay Language” organized by the Prime Minister of Malaysia was held for the first time in order to develop and promote Malay language, the official language of the state of Malaysia. Munisa Mukhtarova, a teacher of Malay language, participated in the symposium as a representative of Uzbekistan among dozens of countries with her lecture entitled “The role of higher education and the importance of the course in the development of the Malay language”.
The symposium was opened by the Prime Minister of Malaysia with an official speech. Malaysian scholars, professors, and teachers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, USA, Germany, Australia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, China, South Korea, Philippines, France, Russia, and Cambodia participated in the symposium for a 3-day program.
In her speech, Munisa Mukhtarova told the audience in Malay about the history and development of Uzbekistan-Malaysia not only in educational but also in economic-political relations, the development of the Malay language in the educational system of Uzbekistan in recent years, at the same time, about President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s “National Personnel Training Program”, about the President’s efforts to develop foreign languages.
The symposium concluded with an official speech by the Secretary General of Malaysia on May 24. All participants were awarded a certificate of appreciation signed by the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
