Strengthening Academic Cooperation through Global Rankings
On October 17, 2024, Gulchehra Rikhsieva, Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, and Nilufar Imamova, Head of the International Rankings Department, participated in the THE (Times Higher Education) Central Asia Universities Forum held at New Uzbekistan University.
This forum, organized by the globally prestigious THE agency, served to foster cooperation among higher education institutions in Central Asian countries, evaluate academic potential, enhance education quality, promote scientific research, and strengthen positions in international rankings.
The participation of TSUOS representatives played an important role in exchanging international experience, establishing strategic academic partnerships, and elevating the university’s global standing. This initiative contributed not only to strengthening sustainable cooperation among regional educational institutions but also to improving the quality of the education system through active participation in international rankings.
