TSUOS Representatives Visited the Prestigious University of Oxford in the United Kingdom
On May 17, representatives of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) visited the prestigious University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
As part of the visit, the delegation held a meeting with Dr. Alexander Morrison, Professor at New College, and Associate Professor Jaimee Skipstock. During the discussions, the parties explored opportunities for academic cooperation between TSUOS and the University of Oxford in the fields of history and historiography.
The two institutions identified several mutually beneficial areas of collaboration, including joint research projects, academic exchanges, and methodological seminars for young scholars. In particular, an agreement was reached for Dr. Alexander Morrison to deliver an online lecture for TSUOS faculty members specializing in history.
Gulchehra Rikhsieva also proposed sending University of Oxford students studying Persian language to TSUOS for internships and summer school programs. In addition, the parties discussed the possibility of offering Uzbek language instruction to Oxford students specializing in history.
