Indian Professor Delivers Lecture to TSUOS Students
On September 30 of this year, a lecture was organized at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies for students majoring in “International Relations,” featuring Professor Ramakant Dwivedi, Director of the India–Central Asia Foundation and Head of the MERI Centre for International Studies.

Professor Ramakant Dwivedi delivered a lecture on the topic “India–Uzbekistan Relations: An Analysis of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Visit to Uzbekistan.”
During the lecture, the historical roots of relations between India and Uzbekistan, the friendship and cultural ties that have connected the two peoples for centuries, as well as key aspects of the bilateral cooperation that continues to develop steadily today were discussed in detail.

The professor also shared his views on the prospects for further development of political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between India and Uzbekistan.
At the conclusion of the event, students asked Professor Ramakant Dwivedi questions of interest to them and actively participated in a discussion of current issues related to the topic. The meaningful dialogue provided students with an opportunity to enrich their theoretical knowledge in the field of international relations through practical analysis and expert perspectives.
