International Forum of Young Korean Studies Students
On April 6, 2022, the international student forum “Young Korean Scholars on the Threshold of Science and Creativity» was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. Local higher educational institutions of the republic, branches of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Korea in Tashkent, and students and researchers studying abroad took part in the forum. The opening part of the forum was opened by Durbek Sayfullaev, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. Head of Department of Korean Philology Professor Saydazimova Umida Turakhanovna expressed her opinion on the purpose and importance of the forum and congratulated the participants on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan-Korea diplomatic relations and Department of Korean Philology.
During the forum, the participants participated with their prepared scientific materials on the topics “Korean language and literature at the crossroads of culture”, “A Linguistic Approach to Learning Korean”, “Simultaneous Translation: Problems of Art of Reinvention”, “Uzbekistan-Korea: new steps in reforms and changes, beneficial cooperation”. The scientific articles presented by Madina Sobirova, Shin Viktoriya, Malika Nasirova, Shin Ji Sun, and Aygul Turlibekova caused discussions at the forum.
