Spiritual and Educational Event on “Enlightenment Against Ignorance”
A spiritual and educational event on the theme “Enlightenment Against Ignorance” was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The event was attended by the Chief Specialist of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gofur Nomozov, as well as Associate Professor of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan Mas’ud Ismatov.
During the meeting, participants discussed the negative consequences of ignorance, the importance of fostering a healthy worldview among youth, and the role of religious tolerance and enlightenment in societal development.
The experts also provided students with important recommendations on preventing the influence of harmful ideologies, developing critical thinking skills, and nurturing well-rounded individuals through education and knowledge.
At the end of the event, students received detailed answers to their questions. This meeting served as an important step in promoting enlightenment among young people, protecting them from harmful ideas, and fostering an informed and educated generation.
