Reading — the foundation of spirituality
On March 26, 2026, the Rector of the university, Gulchekhra Rikhsiyeva, held a meeting with students dedicated to the topic of reading.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on developing a reading culture among youth, increasing interest in reading, discussing favorite literary works, and the role of fiction in human life.
Students actively participated in the event, shared their opinions, and received answers to their questions. Important recommendations for promoting reading culture were also provided.
At the end of the meeting, the importance of regular reading, developing analytical thinking based on read materials, and making reading a part of daily life was emphasized.
This event played a significant role in enhancing the spiritual and moral development of young people and bringing them closer to science and literature.
In addition, students were assigned translation tasks involving working with literary texts, analyzing their content, and exploring translation techniques.
