Financial Literacy Olympiad Held
On March 25, 2026, the first stage — the qualifying round of the Financial Literacy Olympiad — was successfully organized at our university at a high level. The олимпиада aimed to strengthen students’ knowledge in the fields of economics and finance, identify talented youth, and support them.
More than 60 applications were submitted for participation in the Olympiad.
The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of the university, Doctor of Historical Sciences (DSc), Professor Durbek Bakhtiyarovich Sayfullayev. Representatives of the Department of Scientific Research and Innovations, as well as an expert group in the subject of Economic Theory, also took active part in the event.
According to the results of the Olympiad, the winning students earned the right to participate in the republican stage.
This Olympiad became an important step for students to demonstrate their knowledge and potential, gain experience, and move toward their future professional development.
According to the results of the Olympiad:
🥇 1st place — Bakhtiyorova Maftuna, a student of the Economics program,
🥈 2nd place — Abdukarimova Dildora, a student of the Economics program,
🥉 3rd place — Jurayeva Shakhrizoda, a student of the Economics program.
The winners of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places have been recommended for the next stage of the Olympiad.
