Rector of TSUOS G. Rikhsieva participated in a scientific and practical roundtable discussion dedicated to current issues of sustainable development.
During the event, particular attention was paid to the social dimensions of sustainable development, including strengthening the institution of the family, ensuring gender equality, and increasing the socio-economic activity of women.
The main objective of the roundtable was to scientifically examine the role of the family institution in ensuring social stability in the process of effectively implementing the Sustainable Development Goals in the national context, as well as to discuss the results of research and practical activities aimed at promoting gender equality and providing comprehensive support for women.
The university rector, G. Rikhsiyeva, also took part in the event and exchanged views on issues aimed at ensuring women’s access to education, professional development, active participation in public governance, and equal opportunities.
During the roundtable discussion, participants shared proposals and opinions on priority tasks related to promoting gender equality and expanding women’s rights and opportunities, as well as on existing challenges and effective ways to address them.
