Using Korean educational experience will help students strengthen their love for the motherland, involvement in its fate, loyalty to the profession, increase the effectiveness of educational processes and spiritual and educational work.  It is known that the Korean education system has attracted a lot of attention not only from today’s success, but also from the economic growth and development of the country.  In a short period of time, Korea has become an economically developed and democratic country known as the “Miracle of Hangang” and is known around the world as a country that helps the international community.  The great attention of parents to the education of their children, the long-standing traditional relationship between teacher and student, the love of great teachers for their students, as the main factors of such an enviable growth and development movement, and the students ’unconditional respect for their teachers, as well as the established system and the government’s financial investment in the human factor, and so on.

  7. At present, the Government of Uzbekistan has identified the issue of linking students with production as an important task. Given the urgency of this issue, in cooperation with the Association of Korean Businessmen, it is important to systematically organize internships for students in organizations and companies of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan.

In addition to internships for students in organizations, firms, schools, lyceums, the systematic organization of internships in preschool institutions also ensures good results in education and upbringing. It is also planned to establish schools and kindergartens specializing in the Korean language on the basis of the Faculty of Korean Studies. This, in a sense, contributes to the financial self-sufficiency of the university.
  9.  It is advisable to organize a “Summer School” in order to improve the level of knowledge of the Korean language among students. The school opens a wide range of opportunities not only for students of higher education institutions in Tashkent, but also in different regions of the country, where the Korean language is taught. In addition, the Summer School offers intensive Uzbek and Russian language courses for students of foreign universities. This, in turn, will increase the attractiveness of investment in Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
  10.  In order to increase the scientific potential of Korean studies specialists in the country, a “Center for Korean Studies” will be established. The center will be funded by international grants from the Korean Ministry of Education, the Korean Academy and the Korea Foundation, as well as donor funding.  The center conducts research in the field of Korean studies, dissertations and publishes scientific monographs in collaboration with Korean experts. International conferences, seminars and forums are held in cooperation with partner universities.  Young researchers, undergraduates and gifted students will be supported to fund scientific, innovative, technological and startup projects. Professors who publish articles in the International Scientific and Technical Database (Scopus, Web of Science), national and foreign journals with impact factors are encouraged by the center’s fund.
  11.  In order to improve the quality of education, the introduction of innovative methods of training, the faculty provides the classrooms with modern teaching, media, multimedia and distance learning equipment. There will also be a Simultaneous Translation Laboratory, a Multimedia Center, a Digital Recording Laboratory and a Calligraphy Art Laboratory. In addition to practical training in these laboratories, it is planned to create innovative teaching materials (screen-cast, video-cast, video capsion, subtitled video, audio materials, dictionaries for sign language translation).
  12.  Expansion of access to electronic catalogs of fiction, scientific and educational literature and world resources for faculty, researchers and students of the faculty library, organization of delivery of educational and scientific literature in the field to the library through partner and donor organizations and etc…

In short, the granting of the status of a university to the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies is a high level of trust in orientalists, but also imposes a great responsibility on specialists.  In this regard, our whole team must work together to solve the urgent tasks set before us, make a worthy contribution to the development of oriental studies, introduce Uzbek oriental studies to the world and the high message given to us by our esteemed President. We must do all we can to justify trust.
