In connection with the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the start of the new academic year, a general meeting of the staff of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies was held
Ahead of the new academic year, the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) held its first expanded Council meeting. The event focused on further improving the university’s operations, raising the quality of education to a new level, and defining future strategic plans. The meeting was attended by the university administration, faculty members, deans of faculties, and heads of departments.
The following priority areas and key tasks on the agenda were thoroughly discussed during the meeting:

- Enhancing Educational Quality and Digitalization: Implementing advanced international educational standards into the learning process, updating textbooks and teaching materials in line with modern requirements, and expanding the integration of information and communication technologies.
- Revitalizing Research and Development: Increasing the volume of fundamental and applied research in the field of Oriental studies, and encouraging faculty members to publish their research papers in prestigious international scientific journals (such as Scopus and Web of Science).
- Developing International Cooperation: Accelerating student and faculty exchange programs (academic mobility) with leading higher education institutions and research centers in Eastern countries, as well as expanding joint degree programs.
- Spiritual and Educational Work System: Implementing projects aimed at nurturing youth in the spirit of patriotism, organizing meaningful leisure activities, and increasing the social engagement of students
At the conclusion of the meeting, the University Rector and responsible officials issued specific instructions and guidelines to the relevant structural departments to ensure the timely and high-quality execution of the designated tasks. The entire pedagogical team was wished great success and outstanding achievements in the new academic year.
