“Step Towards PhD” project
On August 11, 2025, at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS), a scientific-practical seminar titled “Step Towards PhD” and the opening ceremony of the project were organized by the Youth Affairs Agency and the Republican Council of Young Scientists.
For reference, 900 young female researchers registered for the third season of the “Step Towards PhD” project, of which 100 participants were selected.
The seminar, aimed at enhancing the activities of talented young female researchers who have achieved high results in scientific research, as well as strengthening their knowledge, skills, and competencies, was attended by around 100 researchers, master’s and doctoral students, and media representatives.
This scientific-practical seminar and the project’s opening ceremony served as an important public event contributing to the implementation of SDG 4 – Quality Education. The initiative focused on developing the scientific potential of talented youth, especially women, enhancing their modern knowledge and skills, and expanding their participation in research activities. The seminar facilitated the exchange of scientific experience, the development of academic competencies, and preparation for doctoral studies, thereby promoting inclusive and quality education. As a result, the event became an effective platform for engaging young people in lifelong learning and scientific research.
