A classroom named after Professor Temur Giyosov has been opened
On May 23, 2026, at TSUOS, in connection with the 95th anniversary of the birth of the renowned orientalist Professor Temur G‘iyosov, a ceremonial opening of a classroom named after him was held. The classroom is intended for lectures and academic activities in the field of Oriental studies. It is equipped with modern educational facilities and is designed to support students’ research activities.
The opening ceremony was attended by the university administration, faculty members, and students. Professor Temur G‘iyosov’s significant contribution to the development of science was particularly highlighted. It was emphasized that this initiative creates new opportunities for young researchers. The classroom is also planned to host academic seminars and roundtable discussions.
