Republican Scientific and Practical Conference Dedicated to the Written Heritage of Eastern Scholars
On April 25, 2026, a republican scientific and practical conference titled “The Role of the Written Heritage of Eastern Scholars in Scientific, Philosophical and Spiritual Thought” was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
The conference was attended by leading scholars, professors, and researchers of the country. The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Professor Gulchekhra Rikhsiyeva. The participants were also greeted by Roik Bahodirov, Advisor to the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor.
Within the framework of the conference, a plenary session was held, where a number of scientific reports were presented. The presentations highlighted the scientific heritage of Eastern thinkers, their moral values, the role of written sources in the development of society, and their importance in educating the younger generation.
At the conclusion of the conference, important scientific conclusions were drawn, and proposals and recommendations were put forward for the further development of research in this field.
