Tasks of the Editorial and Publishing Department of TSUOS
Educational-methodical manuals, scientific papers, and monographs prepared by university professors, as well as editing of textbooks, dictionaries, and other educational literature are prepared for printing.
Attention is paid to the timely and qualitative printing of literature, meeting printing requirements, layout design, and improvement of scientific and literary style.
In the Editing and Publishing Department, work is carried out on preparing for publication the journals “Sharqshunoslik. Востоковедение. Oriental studies”, “Sharq mash’ali” and “Turkologiya. Turkology”, which are published at the university.
The purpose and tasks of the journals include regularly presenting diverse topics related to oriental studies, especially the culture, history, language and literature, art, philosophy, economics, and politics of the Eastern peoples and countries. The journals are published four times a year, that is, each quarter.
Additionally, the department edits materials prepared for the university website and submits them for publication on the website.
Composition of the Editorial and Publishing Department Staff
The department employs qualified staff to carry out its tasks. There are 7 staff members in the department. 4 editors and 2 proofreaders are actively involved in the work.
