Within the framework of TSUOS delegation’s visit to China
On May 6–7, 2025, representatives of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies delivered lectures to students at Gansu University of Politics and Law. These lectures were organized as part of an international scientific research project between higher education institutions of the two countries under the theme “Dunhuang Culture to the World.”
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of TSUOS , Doctor of Political Science, Professor N. Abdullayev, gave a lecture to students of the Institute of Political Science on the topic “The History of Uzbekistan-China Relations,” providing detailed information about the ancient historical ties and the current cooperation between the two countries. He especially emphasized that due to the great attention given by the leaders of both countries to education, cooperation in this field is steadily growing.
Head of the Higher School of Sinology, PhD, Associate Professor F. Khasanova, addressed students of the Institute of Literature and Journalism with a speech on “Training Sinologists in Uzbekistan.” She introduced the Higher School of Sinology at TSUOS and shared comprehensive information about the ongoing efforts in Uzbekistan to train orientalists and sinologists.
The lectures delivered by Professor N. Abdullayev and Associate Professor F. Khasanova generated great interest among Chinese students and concluded with an engaging Q&A session.
