For the first time, TSUOS is in the Top 100 of the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI)
On June 7 of this year, the results for 2024 of the international ranking agency “World University Rankings for Innovation” (WURI) were announced in Stockholm, Switzerland. Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies took part in this international ranking for the first time and ranked the 2nd place in the “Industrial Application” category.
For reference, the WURI assesses higher education institutions’ real contributions to industry and society, highlighting innovative education, research, and societal engagement. Using 13 categories, it encompasses innovation targets and methods, offering a comprehensive measure of institutions’ creative contributions to societal advancement. The ranking aims to spotlight higher education institutions that excel in these innovative approaches, thereby inspiring advancements across the academic and societal landscape.
