TSUOS Strengthens Academic Cooperation with Istanbul University
The professors and lecturers of TSUOS, who are currently on a scientific visit to Türkiye, also visited Istanbul University, which ranks 628th in the QS International Ranking.
During the visit, meetings were held on scientific and academic cooperation with Professor Dr. Abdullah Kızılcık, Director of the Farabi Eurasian Research and Application Center and Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at Istanbul University, as well as with Professor Dr. Mehmet Olmez, Head of the Department of Modern Turkic Dialects and Literatures of the Faculty of Literature.
In addition, lectures were delivered for the students of the Faculty of Literature at Istanbul University. Associate Professor of TSUOS Laziz To‘rayev presented a lecture titled “Uzbek Manuscript Copies of Mahmud Zamakhshari’s ‘Rabi’ al-Abrar’,” while PhD Adham Mamadjonov delivered a lecture on “Diplomatic Relations between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.”
The guests were also accompanied during the meeting by Dr. Mamura Mamatkulova, a compatriot living abroad.
