The lecturer of the “Foreign Economic Activity and Tourism” department, PhD Sulhiya Gazieva, participated as an expert in the summer school organized by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Institute of Scientific Research “Family and Gender” from August 5 to 9.
The theme of this summer school was “Using demographic data for the socio-economic development of Uzbekistan”, during which participants from the ministries of our republic conducted analyses on topics related to the demographic situation in Uzbekistan, forecasting, and ways to address issues through lectures, practical sessions, and discussions.
Gazieva S. delivered a lecture on “Accounting for data on internal and external migration: problems and solutions.”
