TSUOS Professors Publish a New Textbook on Turkish Lexicology
A new textbook entitled “Turkish Language: Lexicology, Phraseology, and Lexicography”, authored by Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies professors Khayrulla Hamidov and Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva, has recently been published.
The textbook was published under the scientific editorship of Professor Abdurahim Mannonov, Doctor of Philological Sciences, and based on reviews by Associate Professor Samida Mustafayeva, Doctor of Philological Sciences, and Associate Professor Abdumurod Tilavov, Candidate of Philological Sciences.
The publication is intended for university students majoring in Philology and Language Teaching, Translation Theory and Practice, and International Journalism, who study Turkish as their primary Oriental language.
The textbook incorporates extensive teaching experience and addresses the methodological needs identified during the Turkish language teaching process. Developed in accordance with the curriculum of the course “Lexicology of the Main Oriental (Turkish) Language,” it aims to help students achieve advanced proficiency in Turkish while strengthening their oral and written communication skills.
