Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and Shanghai International Studies University Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted a delegation from Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), one of the leading higher education institutions in the People’s Republic of China.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the study of the Silk Road civilization, the integration of artificial intelligence into education and research, academic exchange programs for faculty members and students, the establishment of joint research centers, as well as the implementation of grant-funded and international projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and Shanghai International Studies University. The agreement provides an important legal framework for strengthening the strategic partnership, implementing joint educational and research initiatives, and advancing academic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.
