Representatives of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies participated in a special event held as part of the official visit of the Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia
On the occasion of the official visit of the Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia, Kh. Akhmad Muzani, to the Republic of Uzbekistan, a special reception and official dinner was hosted at the residence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, Professor Siti Ruhaini Dzuhayatin, in Tashkent. The event brought together members of the official delegation and distinguished guests.
At the official invitation of the Embassy, the delegation of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, headed by Rector Professor Gulchekhra Rikhsiyeva, together with university officials and faculty members specializing in Indonesian studies, participated in the event.
During the reception, Associate Professor N. Khodjayeva, Director of the Institute of Oriental Languages and Literature, Associate Professor N. Abduganiyeva, Head of the Higher School of South Asian Languages and Literature, and Senior Lecturer B. Samigov delivered remarks, expressing their appreciation for the delegation’s visit and emphasizing the importance of strengthening academic cooperation between the two countries.
As a token of respect and friendship, Indonesian language textbooks and teaching materials published by Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies were presented to Mr. H. Akhmad Muzani as commemorative gifts.
