At TSUOS was conducted the round table dedicating to Alexander Eduardovich Schmidt
Alexander Eduardovich Schmidt is an outstanding Russian and Soviet orientalist specializing in Arabic studies and Islamic studies. The scientist is foresighted as patriarch of the Central Asian National School of Orientalism, as he is the founder-rector of the Tashkent Oriental Institute (1920).
On November 11, 2021, dedicating to the 150th Anniversary of the famous orientalist, a round table was conducted at TSUOS, in which the teaching staff, doctoral students of TSUOS, as well as scientists of Uzbekistan have attended.
