Within the framework of cooperation between TSUOS and the Institute of Civil Protection and Labor, a series of seminars and training sessions were held on “Community Earthquake Preparedness Week.”
On May 22, 2026, a comprehensive seminar and training event dedicated to “Community Earthquake Preparedness Week” took place at the Tashkent Institute of Oriental Studies in collaboration with the Institute of Civil Protection and Labor.
During the event, special emphasis was placed on the fact that preparedness for earthquakes is the most crucial factor for the safety of society and the state. Practical exercises on implementing necessary safety measures and training on correct actions in emergencies and communication strategies were conducted.
Participants were also provided with explanations about safety rules and preventive measures that can help increase the community’s readiness for earthquakes. These activities are a vital part of ensuring safety both on university campuses and residential areas, as well as fostering a safety culture and reducing the risks of emergency situations in society.
