On April 6, 2023, the opening ceremony for “Mahatma Gandhi Center of Indian Studies” was held at the Department of South and Southeast Asian Languages at TSUOS.
Rector of the University Mrs. Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Uzbekistan Mr. Manish Prabhat, as well as professors and students took part in the opening ceremony.
