An Educational Seminar “Independence Hour” Was Held at TSUOS
On May 25, 2026, an educational seminar titled “Independence Hour” was organized at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was attended by university professors, tutors, and specialists. The seminar began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the seminar, Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva gave a detailed explanation of the content and significance of the article “The Glory of the Nation” authored by political scientist Kudratulla Rafikov, emphasizing the importance of the ideas presented in the article for the development of New Uzbekistan.
In addition, a video presentation was shown during the seminar, and experts delivered lectures on актуal topics. In particular, Professor Fayzulla Ernazarov spoke on the essence of the main idea “Let us create a new future as one homeland and one nation”; Jumali Shabanov delivered a lecture on “The Phenomenon of Independent and New Uzbekistan”; Sayfiddin Jurayev discussed “The Role of the Central Asian Region in the Foreign Policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan”; and Suhrob Buronov presented on “Foreign Policy Reforms of New Uzbekistan.”
Throughout the seminar, participants exchanged views on the essence of independence ideas, the priority directions of the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy, youth education, and current spiritual and educational issues. Participants also discussed important aspects of fostering patriotism among the younger generation.
