TSUOS Hosts Scientific and Educational Conference Dedicated to Professor Alisher Doniyorov’s 60th Anniversary

Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted a scientific and educational conference entitled “The Honor of Mentorship and Scholarship” to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Alisher Doniyorov.

The conference was organized to recognize the distinguished scholar’s longstanding contribution to the development of science and education, his remarkable academic achievements, dedicated service, and outstanding role in educating and mentoring numerous students and young researchers.

The event was attended by the university’s leadership, faculty members, representatives of the academic community, many of Professor Alisher Doniyorov’s students, as well as guests from Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.

The conference was opened by TSUOS Rector Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva. In her welcoming remarks, she highlighted Professor Doniyorov’s significant contribution to historical scholarship, his distinguished academic and pedagogical career, and his dedicated efforts in training young scholars and specialists. She warmly congratulated the professor on his milestone anniversary.

During the conference, colleagues, former students, and international guests shared heartfelt reflections on Professor Doniyorov’s life, his scholarly achievements, his valuable contribution to the development of historical studies in Uzbekistan, and his exemplary qualities as a mentor.

Special recognition was given to the professor’s rich academic legacy, including his monographs, textbooks, numerous research publications, and his contribution to fostering patriotism among the younger generation. The jubilarian was presented with commemorative gifts and sincere words of appreciation.

The scientific and educational conference “The Honor of Mentorship and Scholarship” became a meaningful tribute to Professor Alisher Doniyorov’s outstanding service to science and education while providing an important platform for strengthening mentor–student traditions, promoting academic cooperation, and discussing the current development and future prospects of historical studies.

At the conclusion of the event, participants once again extended their heartfelt congratulations to Professor Alisher Doniyorov on his 60th anniversary, wishing him good health, a long life, and continued success in his academic and pedagogical endeavors.
