The First Republican Forum of Orientalist Analysts on the Topic “Current Issues in Training Political Analyst Personnel”
On April 25, 2026, the First Republican Forum of Orientalist Analysts titled “Current Issues in Training Political Analyst Personnel” was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The forum was organized by the “Orientalist Analysts” intellectual club in cooperation with the Youth Union of Uzbekistan.
The forum was dedicated to discussing the current state of training specialists in the field of political analysis, existing challenges, and перспективные направления развития. The event was attended by Khayrulla Sattorov, Chairman of the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan; Odiljon Mamatkarimov, Deputy Chairman of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investments and Tourism; Bekzod Ochilov, Chief Research Fellow at the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan; as well as leading experts, political scientists, professors, and students.
During the forum, participants exchanged views and paid special attention to the introduction of modern approaches in political analysis, the development of research activities, and the strengthening of practical skills.
At the end of the event, proposals and recommendations were developed to expand cooperation, support young analysts, and enhance their professional capacity.
