Creative Meeting with Students on “How to Become a Skilled Translator?” Held at TSUOS
On September 25, a creative meeting for students on the topic “How to Become a Skilled Translator?” was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
The special guest of the meeting was Farhod Kabilov, a highly experienced translator, who spoke with students about the specific aspects of the translation profession, the modern requirements for specialists in this field, and the knowledge and skills necessary to become a professional translator.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that, alongside excellent language proficiency, successful translation requires a broad outlook, analytical thinking, the ability to make quick decisions, strong communication skills, and continuous self-development.
Farhod Kabilov shared his professional experience and provided practical recommendations for young people interested in pursuing a career in translation.
