At TSUOS was held the international conferences
On December 20, 2023, an international scientific and practical conference was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies on the topic “Problems and prospects for the development of tourism in foreign countries in the context of digitalization.”
It was attended by employees of the Committee on International and Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investment and Tourism of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Committee on Tourism under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Khokimiyat of Fergana Region, JSC “Uzbekistan airways”, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to China and Japan, Consul General of the Consulate General in Bangkok, as well as representatives of leading higher educational institutions and research institutes of countries such as the USA, England, France, Malaysia, India , Pakistan. At this conference, organized jointly with the Committee on Tourism, the Association of Hotels of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek-Indian Tourism Association and the Tourism Laboratory, were discussed issues such as the socio-economic foundations of the development of international tourism in the context of digitalization, foreign experience in the use of digital technologies in the development of domestic tourism, the main directions of tourism development in the context of digitalization in foreign countries and in New Uzbekistan, as well as promising opportunities for mutual cooperation in this field.
