TSUOS Hosted a Meeting with the Delegation of China’s “Haiwei+ Academic Planning”

July 28, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) hosted a meeting with a delegation from Haiwei+ Academic Planning, a Chinese academic and educational consulting company.

The meeting was attended by 17 students from the People’s Republic of China, 12 of their parents, and representatives of the agency. During the discussions, the parties explored educational opportunities available to Chinese students in Uzbekistan, TSUOS academic programs, and prospects for future academic cooperation.

The guests were provided with comprehensive information about the university’s academic programs. It was emphasized that TSUOS offers degree programs in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Persian, Hindi, Urdu, Turkish, Indonesian, Malay, and many other Oriental languages. In addition to language studies, students receive in-depth education in the history, politics, economy, culture, and contemporary development of the respective countries.

The main focus of the meeting was attracting more Chinese students to study at TSUOS. Representatives of the International Cooperation Department provided detailed answers to the delegation’s questions regarding the university’s academic programs, admission procedures, opportunities for international students, study conditions, fields of study, and future academic and career prospects.

The parties also placed special emphasis on strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions of China and Uzbekistan, expanding student exchange programs and international education opportunities, and providing Chinese students and their parents with reliable and comprehensive information about higher education opportunities in Uzbekistan.

During the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to become closely acquainted with the academic environment and educational facilities of TSUOS, as well as to engage in direct discussions with university representatives. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain continuous dialogue to promote TSUOS among Chinese students and further develop cooperation in the field of education.

The visit marked another significant step toward expanding TSUOS’s cooperation with Chinese educational institutions, strengthening the university’s international reputation, and promoting Uzbekistan as an attractive destination for higher education among Chinese youth.
