Phansak Boonyasopholphong, professor of Maha Chulalongkorn Rajvidyalaya University of Thailand visited to TSUOS
On May 6, 2024, a meeting was held between the leadership of TSUOS and Professor Phansak Boonyasopholphong of Thailand’s Maha Chulalongkorn Rajvidyalaya University.
During the cordial meeting, the parties agreed to implement scientific projects on the preservation of Buddist monuments in the territory of Uzbekistan and their use for touristic purposes, and to organize international conferences.
Also, the professor was very interested in the “Monuments of Buddhism” application, created on the basis of the project carried out at TSUOS.
During the meeting, it was planned to enrich this application with information and promote it in Thailand.
For information, Professor Phansak Boonyasopholphong has been awarded the status of tourism ambassador of Surkhondarya region to the Kingdom of Thailand due to his passion for Buddhist monuments located in Surkhondarya region.
