Khiva – The Successor of the Great Era
During the winter vacation the students of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies visited ancient and beautiful city. They were in many historical places and saw the sights of Khiva: “Ota darvoza”, Juma Mosque, madrasa of Muhammad Rahimhon, mausoleum of Pahlavon Mahmoud, memorial of Muhammad ibn Muso al-Khwarizmi, madrasa of Allakuli-han, minaret of Islom-khodja, Toshhovli palace in walled inner town Ichan-Kala of the city of Khiva. The student firsthand acquainted with history and culture of the ancient city when they visited madrasa of Matniyoz devonbegi and handicraft workshop. Tour on one of the ancient city of Uzbekistan was bright and memorable.
