Head of the Higher School of Chinese Studies at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Appointed to a Prestigious International Position
The Head of the Higher School of Chinese Studies at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, DSc, dotsent Ozodjon Ochilov, has been appointed to an important position by one of the prestigious organizations of the People’s Republic of China.
According to the relevant document, Professor Ozodjon Ochilov has been appointed Expert on Cooperation between the Gansu Provincial UNESCO Association and the education sector of Uzbekistan, as well as Chinese-language Editor of the “Gansu UNESCO Bulletin” (“甘肃教科文通讯”).
The official invitation letter (pishu) regarding the appointment was issued on September 18, 2026, with the appointment period set from September 18, 2026, to July 15, 2031.
This international recognition and cooperation will contribute to further strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and China, particularly in the fields of education, science, and humanitarian cooperation.
