An ESP Language Hub center has been opened at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies in cooperation with University of Warwick
This center is designed for teachers working in the field of ESP in Uzbekistan and aims to support research activities, experience exchange, and the organization of seminars, trainings, and professional development events.
Within the ESP Language Hub:
• research in ESP is conducted;
• seminars and training sessions are organized;
• meetings aimed at supporting teachers’ professional development are held.
The head of the center is Professor Kamila Tangirova from University of Warwick. The coordinator from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies is Associate Professor Saodat Saidakbarova.
The opening of this center marks an important step in developing ESP education in Uzbekistan, strengthening international cooperation, and introducing advanced practices in the field.
