Seminars with Foreign Guest Professors Have Started at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies
On May 13, 2026, the Department of Western Languages of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies welcomed two guest lecturers from Azerbaijan University of Languages — Associate Professor, Professor Durra Hashimova and Senior Lecturer Aynura Amirova. As part of a two-week guest lecture program, they are scheduled to conduct lectures and seminars at the university.
Within the framework of the visit, the Head of the Department of Western Languages, PhD, Associate Professor Saodat Saidakbarova organized a practical seminar titled “From Learning Outcomes to Reflection.” The seminar focused on the interconnection between three important components of the educational process — Learning Outcomes, Assessment, and Reflection. During the session, participants exchanged views on designing a meaningful and continuously improving learning process through defining learning outcomes, assessment, and reflective practices.
In addition, department lecturer Nargiza Fuzaylova conducted a seminar on the SIX HATS method, providing information about its application in the educational process, its role in increasing student engagement, and developing interactive approaches.
This visit serves to strengthen international academic cooperation, exchange advanced pedagogical experiences, and further enhance the scientific and practical potential of the university’s faculty members and students.
