At Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, a cultural and educational musical event entitled “The National Army Is Our Honor and Pride” was held in celebration of January 14 — Defenders of the Motherland Day and the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.


The event was attended by the Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Gulchehra Rikhsieva, the Head of the Department of Pre-Conscription Initial Training and Youth Affairs of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel Bahrom Zulfiqarov, as well as faculty members and students.



The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Rector of the University, who congratulated the participants on the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the National Army. Colonel Bahrom Zulfiqarov also addressed the audience, providing information on youth military training, the current state and capabilities of the National Army, its compliance with modern requirements, and highlighting key achievements in the country’s security policy.



Such cultural and educational musical events play an important role not only in strengthening young people’s respect and positive attitude toward the National Army, but also in encouraging every citizen to actively contribute to ensuring peace and sustainable development of the country.
