Meeting with Representatives of the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center in Tashkent
A meeting was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies with representatives of the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center in Tashkent. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation, as well as opportunities to expand collaboration in the fields of education, scientific research, and cultural and humanitarian exchange.
During the discussions, the participants considered the possibility of appointing a qualified instructor of Turkish language and literature to Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies with the support of the Yunus Emre Institute, with the aim of further enhancing the quality of education in the Turkish Language and Literature program. The parties also exchanged views on strengthening academic cooperation between faculty members and researchers, implementing joint research projects, and jointly organizing international conferences, seminars, and cultural and educational events.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their support for the initiative to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Headquarters of the Yunus Emre Institute in Ankara and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. An agreement was reached to prepare the draft memorandum and coordinate it with the Institute’s Headquarters prior to its signing. The memorandum is expected to elevate cooperation in the fields of education, science, and culture to a new level.
