The legacy of our great ancestors in the interpretation of young orientalists
On February 12, 2020, the Department of Classical Philology of the Faculty of Oriental Languages hosted the event “The Legacy of Our Great Ancestors in the Interpretation of Young Orientalists”, dedicated to Alisher Navoi and Zakhiriddin Muhammad Bobur. The rector of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, Ph.D., associate professor G.Sh. made a welcoming speech at the event. In her speech, the rector of the institute noted the need for a deep and comprehensive study of the work of representatives of our classical literature, a serious approach to the study of their invaluable works, this should be the goal of the scientific work of future young orientalists. G.Sh. Rixsieva paid special attention to the organization of parties at the faculty and institute dedicated to the works of Navoi and Babur, competitions to recite and read the poems of these great authors, as well as the study of works of art. And also she added that Navoi and Babur are necessary for orientalists studying classical literature. Then the speech was given to , a Navoi scholar , professor B.Tukhliyev and B.Rajapova , a PhD scientist whose scientific interests were dedicated to the life and works of Z.M .Bobur.
They talked about what research is being done in these areas, what successes have been achieved by scientists in the study of the work of our great poets. During the event, students presented their prepared works on the life and work of A. Navoi and Z. Babur. And the performance of the Nihol Prize laureate Ilesjon Arabov, who performed songs on the gazelles A. Navoi and Z. Bobur, gave a special mood to this meeting.
